Why did I want this book?
The synopsis sounded promising.
Synopsis:
If you want to survive, you have to follow the rules… Mikayla Morgan is wanted for her mother's murder. She's been on the run for almost a year now, avoiding not only the police but the real killer. Tired of running and desperate to clear her name, she breaks one of the most sacred rules: never return to the scene of the crime. Every bounty hunter on the Eastern Seaboard is after the Morgan girl—but Shaun Denver and his partner snagged her. She's a piece of work, and Shaun can't decide if he wants to kiss her or kill her. When things take a sharp turn south, Shaun does the only thing he can think of to keep her close—he handcuffs them together. As the danger mounts and the killer closes in, the chemistry between them threatens to explode. Shaun and Kayla will need to break all the rules if they hope to get out of this alive.

Cover:
Honestly? I'm no fan of the cover. It looks like a cheap paperback. Which is something, this book doesn't deserve.

Title:
The title is so cool and was the first thing, that got me interested.

Writing style:
Perhaps the most outstanding feature of the book is it's writing style. I was hooked on from page one! It's such a funny and captivating read. Shaun and Kayla are hilarious! The book is written from Kylas point of view and in first-person, which makes it even more engaging.

Characters:
Kayla is on the run since her mom got murdered. The police thinks, it was her and the true murder wants her dead. When she gets kidnapped by bounty-hunters, she tries to convince them, that she's innocent. But Shaun and Patrick want their money and don't care about her explanations. After some failed attempts to escape, Shaun shackles her to his wrist. But Kaylas pursuers find them and they loose the keys, while running away. After a while, Shaun has to ask himself, that Kayla might be innocent. They try to find the true murder and struggle to stay alive. Both characters are so sweet! I instantly fell in love with them!

Noteworthy:
The book is quite cheap, you can get a digital copy at amazon for $1,35!

Stuck in my Head:
»Shaun, shivering as much as I was now, nodded and wrapped his jacket around my shoulders. Hot, smart, and thoughtful. If not for the irritating attitude, and the desire to turn me in, he'd be a seriously drool-worthy package.«
What I didn't like:
Nothing to complain!

Quick and dirty:
I rarely read love stories, but Jus Accardo proves that it is possible to write captivating New Adult novels without hundreds of sex scenes in it. Still, there was a sexual tension in the air all the time! My full recommendation, don't miss this book! Tears of laughter are guaranteed!
